E-Safety

STRANGER DANGER ONLINE - 2JOHNS

Online safety is about ensuring children use new technologies (computers, mobile phones and gaming devices) in a way which will keep them safe without limiting their opportunities for creation and innovation.

We can only be successful in keeping children safe online if we work with you to ensure the e-safety message is consistent. Your help is needed to talk to your children about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online.

West Horndon Primary School believes that is crucial to your child’s well-being that they are aware of how to keep themselves and others safe in different situations, including in relation to e-safety. Pupils have regular opportunities to assess risk and learn about safety in different contexts.

On this page you will find support and guidance which can be used in conjunction with your child.
